Tick Removal
How to safely remove a tick from your pet using the silver tick remover hook included in your kit.
🐶 Dogs: check neck, ears, between toes, groin, and tail base. 🐱 Cats: check face, neck, and between toes. Both: part the fur slowly — ticks are small and easy to miss.
Never squeeze, burn, or apply substances to the tick — this can push pathogens into your pet's bloodstream. Always use the silver tick remover hook, not your fingers.
What You'll Need from Your Kit
1Disposable Gloves
Tear open the white foil packet labelled 'First Aid Gloves'. Pull on both gloves before touching the tick.
2Tick Remover
The slim silver metal hook tool. Slide the notched tip under the tick body, as close to the skin as possible.
3Iodine Swab
Snap the brown-tipped swab to release the iodine solution. Dab the tip gently onto the bite site to disinfect.
4Poop Bag
Tear one bag from the roll. Use it as a sealed disposal bag for the tick — do not crush the tick with bare hands.

Part the fur carefully with your fingers to locate the tick. Look for a small dark oval shape attached to the skin. Common spots: neck, ears, between toes, and groin area. For cats, also check the face and chin.
Monitor the bite site for 2–3 days. If you notice redness, swelling, lethargy, or loss of appetite, contact your vet promptly.
